I recently spent a night out in the Texas Hillcountry at Enchanted Rock. I can’t understand why, after living in Austin off and on for almost 10 years, that I’d never taken the 2 hour drive west to this amazing place. The “rock” is actually a giant pink granite pluton dome and is the largest of such formations in all of North America.
